Construction Interior Design Ltd has now been trading for over ten years having been formed in 1992 by the then sole Director Barrie Mohammed.

Located in the county of Cornwall the principal activity of the company was the installation and repair of suspended ceilings, fire protection, specialist cladding and linings together with partitioning.

Operating predominantly as a sub contractor the expertise of both the management and dedicated team of operatives was based upon many years of previous experience dating back to the introduction of suspended ceilings and specialist decorative cladding systems in the United Kingdom.

Trading was not limited to the locality but rather the business offered a nationwide service, undertaking repeat work for existing clients and reaching new clients with the increased geography. Projects have been undertaken in Europe with clients such as Richard Branson but generally the business strategy continued unchanged.

We have a long term working relationship with a wide range of national contractors such as Mowlem, Simons Construction, Simpson Shopfitting, Kier Group and Ernest Ireland, providing a wide range of services including the supply & installation of suspended ceilings, partitions and specialist glass reinforced gypsum. Projects have been completed for a diverse range of clients including Debenhams, Tesco, Safeway, Gazeley and Arcadia Group. Contract values range from £10,000 to £1,000,000.

Within the last two years a second regional office has been created in Peterborough to provide a more central location. The opening of this office has also presented opportunities to recruit additional members to the management team increasing the spectrum of expertise whilst complementing its existing strengths.

The company is able to provide a complete contract service as a Principal Contractor incorporating established core skills together with more traditional building and construction trades. We have developed relationships with a diverse range of subcontractors within the UK who are able to provide the specialist service that we are not able to undertake ourselves.
